McKinley's Birthday

Happy Birthday McKinley! On Sunday we had McKinley's birthday party with family. It was fun although McKinley was not the happiest birthday girl. Poor little girl had a bright red bum! So we went over to Tate's and we brought cake and ice cream. Here's the birthday girls cake....

So we sang Happy Birthday. However she didn't blow out the candles, she was a little nervous about the whole thing and as soon as we ended the song Carter blew the candle out before she got a chance.
Here she is chowing down her birthday cake. Well she started out daintily picking it up and took a small bite. Then the face stuffing began!

We opened presents and since Christmas she's gotten better at tearing apart the wrapping paper!

It was fun watching her open presents and getting so excited. She would throw the clothes on the floor and the On The Go Purse that she got she pounded on the box and would laugh!

On Monday (her actual birthday) We went to McDonald's for dinner, she absolutely loves their fries. She also ate about 1/4 of my hamburger...little miss piggelty wigglety!

After dinner we came home and had her open presents from our family. We had her sit in the reading chair.

Obviously she was not impressed with the shoes.... The next picture is of me trying to give her another present and she is NOT interested, because she wants the big present that we were saving for the last.

Her "big" present was one she picked out herself. It's a cute little baby that plays peek-a-boo.

I think she had a great birthday. From her Grandma Shelly she got a TeaPot that sings with teacups, and treats. (It's a British tea pot) :0) She also got a Fisher Price Little People Ferris Wheel that plays music that she loves (it goes along with her Noah's Ark Little People that she got for Christmas) She loves playing with her teapot and purse...it's so cute, she's getting so big! Anyway happy birthday baby girl....

Until the next post.....
